Black Friday And Cyber Monday Sale, Save Big:

Now that the turkey has been carved, and devoured by the family, it time to get out there and save some money on those black Friday sales. Don’t forget about cyber Monday. However, you decide to save big this weekend, keep in mind that you can stay home where it’s safe and take care of all of your gift giving right here.

All I Want For Christmas:Christmas Wishes:

All I want for Christmas is alcohol, is there anything else worth opening up on Christmas morning? There probably is, however, for me I would like to see at least one bottle of bourbon under the tree. This Santa likes his bourbon whiskey better than milk and cookies. What about you?

There is just something about closing out the night with a smooth glass of bourbon, whether be on Christmas eve, or at the end of Christmas day. And if you have ever met my family, you would want to have a good buzz on all day long. Do you have some relatives that make you want to drink all through the day?

I’m pretty sure how most of you would answer that last question, the same way that I would. So you are not alone when family makes you want to stay buzzed for the whole day, after all Jesus did turn water into wine. So why not partake in a little nip every so often? Maybe this year I will step out of my comfort zone, and try something a little different.

Remember, that this is a live sale starting today 11-26-2021 until Sunday 11-28-2021 for black Friday and you have to use the code GOBBLEGOBBLE to save $10.00 on any order of $40.00 or more. Now that is pretty good deal, don’t you think so? You can get a bottle of something for everyone on your list, and be the hero of the day.

What To Drink:Mixed Drinks:

This is the easy part, you know what you like to sip on. Do you know what your friends like to drink? If not, you can always ask them. But, ask them in a way that they do not suspect that you are planning on getting them alcohol as a Christmas gift.

In case, you are wondering what I like, it’s Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey. Don’t worry, I have a fresh bottle in my liquor cabinet, so you need not worry about me. Just worry about your friends and family.

I plan on stepping outside of the box this year, and trying something different. Recently I was given a bottle of Fireball Cinnamon Whiskey, and I mixed up with some cola. You would’nt think that it would be a good combination, let me tell ya, it was very good, I even had the little woman give it a taste, and she liked it. Now I want to venture out and try as many mixes that I can think of.

Don’t get me wrong I will still stick with the traditional mixers. Like my holiday favorite Irish cream in a cup of hot coffee, Scotch and soda, as well as bourbon and seven up. I’m sure that you have your favorites to drink around the holidays. Let me know what you like to drink whatever time of the year it is. I would love to know.

Cyber Monday:Home Shopping:

After the rush of black Friday is over, we still have cyber Monday. With that being said we here at loveofspirits have decided to keep the sale going. This will be for one day only, Monday 11-29-2021 and you will need use a completely different code at checkout. CYBEAR now this code will save you $10.00 on any $30.00 order. That’s a little better of a savings for you, for being a loyal customer.

I know that there are a lot of sales going on this whole weekend, but, here is where you are going to save a good amount of money on alcohol. Not even the box stores are going to have black Friday and cyber Monday sales.

If it were me, I would skip the chaos at the stores and do all of my shopping right from home. Sit back and relax, and let someone deliver all my goodies to my front door. Why would’nt you with these sales that we are having here this weekend as well as on Monday. You can not go to your local liquor store and get these deals. If you do, let me know where you got a better deal at, please?

It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year:Home Sweet Home:

I know it sounds corny, like a Christmas song. This is the time of the year that we get to those loved ones that we don’t get to see the rest of the year. So, yes it’s the most wonderful time of the year. Plus you have a black Friday and cyber Monday sale, save big, and it becomes an even more, most wonderful time of the year.

Besides shopping for friends and family, you can use these two sales to stock up on all of your favorite spirits. You will more than likely need some alcohol on hand for those unexpected visitors that come knocking on the front door. There is nothing worse than being a terrible host.

Who knows, this may be the year that a long-lost friend will show up on your door step. You do not want to get caught un- prepared now, do you? If you were to come over to my house, I have a good well stocked liquor cabinet. In just a few short days, we will be into the last month of the year, do yourself a favor and don’t get caught without enough alcohol to make your friends a decent cocktail. I hope that in some small way, I have been help you with your holiday shopping.

Different Strokes:Different People

One thing that we have to remember is that everyone on the planet is different from one another. Our world is one big melting pot, we all not to get along with one another. The best way that I have found to get along is to sit down over cocktails.

If you ask me, those of us who think this way, are a whole new breed of people, the good kind of people. Believe me, I have come across a bunch of folks all over the world who feel the same way that I do. If we all sat down together and had a drink or two together, this world would be a lot better to live in.

So join me in this new revolution, and have a drink or two with someone that you would not normally give the time of day to. Let’s all see if we can make a difference in the world, or at least in our own neighborhoods.

Remember to drink responsibly, and never drink and drive. The life you save may very well be your own. Sincerely; John D. Have a blessed day my friends.

Long Awaited Thanksgiving Gatherings:

This year you will be able to have a long awaited thanksgiving gatherings, and now you can save some cash on all the wine that your family friends like to sip on. Or if you prefer, you can save some money on all the liquor that everyone like to pout on the rocks, mix or drink neat.

Choose A Wine:Choices:

First let me say that I am not a wine expert, nor do I play one on TV. Just remember this, drink what you like. The hell with what everyone else says, drink what you like. Of course certain wine goes with certain foods. Like red meats, the powers that be say to serve red wine. And with fish and white meats, they tell us to serve white wine.

Not all of have the same old turkey at Thanksgiving. But I say the heck with the rules, If there is a wine, or some other type of alcohol that you like to drink, then by all means serve it at your long awaited Thanksgiving gathering.

If you decide to follow the rules and go along with tradition and serve a red wine with dinner at your gathering, I recommend going with a Merlot, it’s a red wine that is low in tannins. And I have the perfect Merlot for you to serve, all of your guests will love it. And so will you.

Woodbridge Merlot

White Wine:Crisp And Refreshing:

For those of who like a less robust wine, you can choose a white wine to serve at your long awaited Thanksgiving gathering. White wine tends to be a little sweeter than your red wines, and they have a lighter taste to them.

As with red wines, white wines also have some varieties to choose from. But that is for another article, another time. Today I want to talk about one in particular, Moscato. This is a white wine that is a very sweet wine. If you ask me, it is perfect for serving with turkey. Let’s face it most of the time someone over cooks the turkey, and we end up with meat that is dry. So the sweetness of the Moscato helps to fight back the dryness.

And as the same with the red wine, I have a Moscato that is a favorite for me, and my wife loves the heck out of it. It is the only white wine that she likes to drink anymore. I have to go out and buy a bottle or two of it even if we are traveling. She does’nt want to risk that we will be able to find it wherever we are at. Trust me, if my wife likes it and I like it you and your guests are going to like it as well.

Risata Moscato d’Asti

Whiskey:Americas Favorite:

Yes you can serve whiskey at your long awaited thanksgiving gathering. In fact, it would a sin if you do not have some on hand. Especially if your in-laws are going to be at the table. Americas favorite is Jack Daniels, however you do not have to be a follower and serve Old No.7, Do a little research and find out what whiskey your father-in-law or your favorite uncle likes to drink.

I will admit that I as well like it drink Jack Daniel’s once in a blue moon, I like to take some cola and freeze it into cubes and make frozen Jack and Coke, especially when the weather is warm. If this piques your curiosity, you can find the recipe in another one of my articles.

Do yourself a favor and stock up on some Jack Daniel’s and keep it on hand for the holidays. After the past two years that we all have endured, we deserve to spend some time with friends and family this year. You never know when company is going to be knocking on the front door. Be a gracious host and be prepared.

Jack Daniels Old No.7

Bourbon:Oak Cured Bourbon:

If you have been here a time or two, then you know that I have a love affair with Bourbon. For the longest time Jim Beam has been my favorite Bourbon. Recently in the past couple of years I have found another bourbon that I like just as much as Jim Beam.

Buffalo Trace Bourbon, is another one that I like to sip on. When I am in the mood to make a mixed cocktail, I will use Jim Beam for it. And whenever I am in the mood to just sip on glass of bourbon on the rocks, I will use Buffalo Trace.

I suggest that while you are shopping for all your holiday beverages, you include some sort of bourbon to add to your liquor cabinet. Believe me you will thank me for it in the future. This is one alcohol that everyone should have on hand.

Buffalo Trace

Drink What You Like:Everyone Is Different:

Have that long awaited Thanksgiving gathering this year. Everyone that will be there is different from everyone else. So make sure that you have a variety of drinks to keep them all happy. Make sure that you as the host, have something that you like to drink. If you are not happy, your guests will not be happy.

Do not fear picking up all the alcohol that you will need, I am here to help your wallet and have a sale for this weekend 11/05 2021- 11/07/2021 all you have to do is use the code TURNBACKTIME when you check out and you will automatically save $7.00 on your order. That’s a pretty good savings, what do you think?

As always please remember to drink responsibly, never serve alcohol to anyone under the legal drinking age of twenty one years of age. It is illegal to serve alcohol to minors, anyone under the age of twenty one. By doing so you can face time in jail as well as a fine, you can lose everything that you have worked hard for.

Sincerely your friend John D. Have a blessed day.

I prefere Not To Drink In Public: Stay home and drink instead

Just like the title says, I prefer not to drink in public. Stay home and drink instead, and I have a few reasons why I do not like to drink in public. You may think that they are funny reasons, or a little crazy. So let me know what you think.

Reason Number One:Number One:

Now, lets get right to the first reason that I prefer not to drink in public. The reason is that people out there these days are crazy. You can’t even look at another person without offending them. It’s like everyone has turned into a bunch of little babies who are still suckling on their mothers breasts.

Look, I’m not saying that everyone out there is like this, maybe it’s me and the era that I grew up in. You walked into a bar back in my day, and people were happy to see you. They asked how your week was, or how was your day.

You go into a bar today and everyone looks at you like you have some nerve for coming there. I thought that going out to have a drink was supposed to be to have a little fun. At least where I live people suck. How are the people where you live? I want to know if you have the same issues as me.

Reason Number Two:Number Two:

Reason number two that I prefer not to drink in public is the cost. Besides how crazy everyone is these days, the last time I went out for a beer, they wanted four dollars for one stinking beer. Back in my Navy days, when I went to a bar for an ice-cold long neck, it cost me a dollar fifty.

I mean come on they have’nt done anything to improve the taste of the beer that I drink. There has been no improvement in the package, so why has the cost of the product gone up so much? I get inflation, but come on one beer for four bucks, for that price add one more dollar and you can buy a six-pack at your local beverage mart.

I know, I’m showing my age, and I usually give you a few cocktail recopies in my articles. I, just felt like throwing out a small rant this weekend. Is there anyone out there that feels the same way that I do about this? Please leave me a comment, I want to know.

Reason Number Three:Number Three:

The third reason that I prefer not to drink in public, is that in this point of my life I would rather sit in front of a fire and drink with friends and family. For me it is a lot better to stay home and drink with the people who bring the most joy in my life. Sounds funny that after the year and a half that we had, I still want to spend time with my family.

There is good news on the front as of today, they are saying that we are on our way down in the amount of infections and hospital intakes due to the virus. So soon we may be able to have a small gathering in our homes. This is good news with the holidays so close to being here.

I know that most of us have already been having gatherings in our homes, but soon we will be able to have more people join us for cocktails at Thanksgiving as well as Christmas. Just hang in there for a little while longer, now I want to get back to the cost. This weekend starting today October/ 08/ 2021 you can save $7.00 until 10/10/2021 all you have to do is use the code that I will give you at the end of this article. So please keep reading and enjoy the savings on anything that you might purchase.

Reason Number Four:Number Four:

Reason number four why I prefer not to drink in public and stay home to drink instead is the most important reason of all. Once I start to drink, I don’t always like to stop. And I am too stubborn to pay for a taxi cab, uber lyft or any other way that costs money to get my drunk butt home.

I prefer to stay home and drink so that I can continue to drink more than one or two, and not have to worry about getting pulled over by law enforcement. Getting a DWI would be one of the worst things that can happen. Then there is the fact that I could end up causing an accident and killing someone. That would be something that I would never be able to forgive myself for.

Tacking the life of another human being is the ultimate sin, I would never be able to recover from doing it. What about you, could come back from causing the death of another human being? And it’s not just cost of the legal fees that you will need pay for, or the time spent behind bars for killing someone, that is something that will always be on my mind. I am the reason that a mother or father, or brother, or sister sits in a dark room crying themselves to sleep at night. If they are even able to sleep.

Yes this is why I prefer to not drink in public and stay home and drink instead. I can drink as much as I want and not have to worry about killing someone. Would you be able to forgive yourself if caused someones life to come to an end? I know for sure that I would not be able to .

Have A Drink With Me:Drink With Me:

If you agree raise your glasses for a toast and have a drink with me. Take my word for it. It is much safer to drink at home. Trust me you will not only save money by drinking at home, but chances are that you will have a much better time. Now as I promised you the code to use at checkout is SPOOKYTIME

remember to drink responsibly, and never drink and drive the life you save may very well be your own. Sincerely; your friend John D. Have a blessed day my friends.

Even if it is for a short period of time. After all we are only here for a short period of time, so why not enjoy ourselves once in a while. For me this is how I enjoy life once in a while, sharing a cocktail or two with friends and family. Drinking alone is no fun, believe me, I have drank alone more times than I like to admit. I am so glad that those days are behind me, those we’re some pretty dark days for me.

After all these years have passed, I still have flash backs of some things that I seen while serving in the United States Navy. There are a few shows that get played on TV that I can’t watch without welling up in tears. Alcohol has always been my drug of choice to try to forget about a few things that still haunt me, even after thirty years. I won’t burden you with the details, nowadays I can have one or two drinks, and be alright. Now before I forget, this weekend you can get ten dollars off of your order of thirty dollars or more. The Real Cost Of A DWI: It’s not money.

Today I would like to talk about a subject that is very dear to me. In fact, I am making it my mission in life to put an end to it. That is the subject of drinking and driving. As I have said above, the real cost of a DWI, it’s not money, however you will end paying a lot out-of-pocket if you are ever charged driving while intoxicated. Don’t worry, we will get into that further down in this article. First I want to talk about the real cost of a DWI.

The Real Cost:The Shame Of It:

Yes it is going to cost you a lot of money if you ever get caught drinking and driving. That is just money, and we can always make more money. Now, if you ask me, the real cost of a DWI will be the shame that is brought to your friends and family.

This is something that you can not erase. The shame of a DWI is the one thing that will follow you around for the rest of your life. You will never be able to get away from the shame of this act.

It may even cost you some family members as well as some friends. Ask yourself is drinking and driving worth the cost of losing friends and family members? If you ask me, no it is not.

I am not saying to never have a cocktail, or a beer or two. I am saying drink responsibly. If you are going to be out in a public place while enjoying an alcoholic beverage or two, have a plan in place if by some chance you become too inebriated to drive. Make sure that you have a designated driver, someone who is not going to be enjoying some alcoholic beverages. If you do not have someone who is completely sober to drive, then make sure that you have the means to pay for a taxi, or an Uber, or lyft or some other ride share program. With all the ways to get home these days ther is absolutely no excuse for drinking and driving.

The Money:Money To Burn:

Now if the shame of getting a DWI isn’t enough for you not to drink and drive, then perhaps what it will cost you in money will deter you from drinking and driving. I know that this has stopped a few people from drinking and driving. Like my youngest son, who got caught while stationed in Hawaii.

He not only had to pay $9,000 for his lawyer, he also lost rank, plus he had to go to captains mast. So now he will not be getting a good conduct award as well. I am pretty sure that he has learned his lesson. Thankfully, he didn’t harm anyone including himself.

Now I have done a little digging as to what you can expect to pay for a DWI. $9,000 is a lot of money for just about everyone in the world. And it is on the low end of what you could end up paying for a fine. On the high end, you can expect to pay upwards of $ 30,000 for a fine.

You could also end up spending some time in jail to go along with the monetary fine. Boy, how is that going to look on a job application? What is your children going to think when they have to visit you in jail? Not to mention what their friends are going to say to them. Plus the financial stress that it will put your spouse or significant other under. Chances are, you could end up losing your job, your home, everything that you have worked hard for all your life, gone in a matter of seconds. All because you had to have that last drink, and get behind the wheel of a motor vehicle. If you ask me, it just isn’t worth it.

You Killed Someone:Vehicular Manslaughter:

Well now you have done it, committed a mortal sin. You have caused a motor vehicle accident, and the driver of the vehicle that hit has died. You have caused the life of another human being to come to an end. What now?

You are definitely going to jail now, plus you will have all the fines to.pay as well. And you also have to live with the guilt of taking someone’s life. Leaving another without a husband, father, wife, mother, or a sibling. Either way, you get my point. And if you don’t, may God have mercy on your soul.

Although, it is my belief that if you have taken the life of another person, you are not granted the stairway to heaven. You are however shown the highway to hell. Maybe now you can see the real cost of a DWI and it is not money. For any of you who have been to this site before, you know how I feel.about drinking and driving. I want you to have a cocktail or two, I just do not want you to drive after having a drink or two.

please, if you are going to drink, do not drive afterwards. Even if you only have to drive a block or two, take a cab, get a ride from.a friend, walk home, anything but drive. I do not want to see you hurt yourself, or someone else. It is not worth what can happen. It is not maybe something bad will happen, it’s when something bad will happen. You can always do what I do when I want to have a drink or two, stay home and drink. That way, the only one you hurt is yourself.

You Have A Problem:

If you even think that you have a problem with drinking or drug use, you not only owe it too yourself, but to your loved as well to seek help. There are plenty of places in every single community where you can go to just talk to someone, or to simply listen.

I guarantee that there are others who are going through the exact same thing that you are going through. I don’t care where you live, there is always some place that you can go for help.

The first step in getting help, is admitting that you have a problem. And believe me, you have a problem, whether you want to admit it or not. If you decide to drive after having a couple of drinks, then you have a problem.

All you have to do is walk into alcoholics anonymous meeting, and listen to what the others there are saying. I bet you that what they are saying is going to sound a lot like your current life. Trust me with this one, if drinking is causing you to lose your job, and your family, then you have a problem, and you need some help. Please do not let this ruin what you have. Or worse yet, cause you to end up taking a life.

Get Some Help:

Bottom line my friends, if your drinking is costing you everything that you have worked hard for all your life, please pick up the phone and call someone for help. There is no shame in asking for help, only not asking for help and then hurting yourself or someone else.

I am not saying you have to not drink, just do it responsibly and ease don’t drink.and drive the life you save may very well be your own. Have a blessed day my friends. Sincerely: John D.
