Mom Deserves A Gift That Keeps Giving All Year. A whiskey club membership.

Mother’s day is in just a few short days, today is Wednesday, and Mother’s day is this Sunday to be exact. Have you gotten mom something for her special day yet? No, well don’t worry, I have you covered. That is if you are willing to step outside the box and color outside the lines this year. Sure you can go to a nursery and buy some flowers to plant in the yard like you do every year. And that is perfectly fine, until the fall arrives and all the flowers wilt and die. Then what does mom have to remember you by? Mom deserves a gift that keeps giving all year. A whiskey club membership. I know it’s outside of the box thinking, that’s the beauty of it, a gift that mom would never have thought of, the surprise of the year.

Mom Is The Best:Play Time:

Throughout the years moms have been the ones to always be there for us all. She was the one that would take you to the park to play and make sure that we had a great time.

every day, I wish that my mom was still here. There has been numerous times when I wished that had her here to talk to and to give some advice, she was taken from us way, to early. She was 46 when she left this earth and joined the heavenly father, along with all the family and friends that went before her. Hopefully you still have your mother here with you, and if you do cherish every moment with her that you possibly can.

Making Memories:From The Beginning:

From the beginning of your life, your mother has been making memories with you. The very first day that you were born and she held you next to her chest, she was in love with you. And your father was more than likely standing next to the two of you taking pictures so that mom would have a record of that day, when you came into her life.

Every day since that day, mom has been doing everything in her power to make memories with you. Not all of those may have been good memories, bur I can assure you that there was always love in her heart for you.

Hopefully, you can continue to make some memories with your mother. Now, don’t you think that mom deserves a gift that keeps on giving all year long, and not just some flowers that will wither and die in a few months? If you have a brother or sister, perhaps they can chip in some cash and you all can say that you got this for her.

The times, they are changing my friends, if your mother likes to have a cocktail now and then, this is the perfect gift for her. And the best part is, it is’nt a one time delivery. No, every three months, mom will get another package in the mail. First she will receive a tasting box that contains Three sample bottles of a particular whiskey, This will allow her to try them before deciding to buy a full size bottle. This way, mom does’nt end with a liquor cabinet full of alcohol that she does’nt like. How does this sound so far?

What do you get:Whiskey Samples:

This is a very good question, let me tell you everything that mom will get with a membership to this whiskey club. There so much more value that meets the eye. Like I stated in the above paragraph, you will receive one tasting box every quarter of the year. That makes four tasting boxes in a year. It does’nt stop there, oh no, along with the tasting box you can now choose one full size bottle every quarter of the year. You would think that it stops there, would’nt you? Well, it does’nt stop there, the membership has even more to offer. Do you want to know more?

Another thing that comes with the membership is, the club offers tasting experience. Mom will get the chance to go on a tour to try different spirits, as well as meet the people behind that particular spirit, it is a truly unique experience. Think that is the end of it? Nope, there is still more that comes with the club membership. This is the one benefit that made it for me, Mom will be invited to distillery tours. Yup, you heard me right. Club members get invites to distillery tours, and she will not have to drive, mostly due to the fact that there will be some sampling going on throughout the tour. Everyone gets loaded onto a bus, and is shuttled to the distillery. Have I sold on this club yet?

The Cost:Greenbacks:

How much would you expect to pay for a membership that offers all these features? 2,000- 1,000- 500, what if I told you that you would’nt pay anything near these numbers? You are not going to pay 2,000 or 1,000, not even 500 dollars. Plus the club offers two ways to pay, just pick the best one for you.

First way, to pay is to do it by the month, $29.67 per month. Billed quarterly at $89.00. So, that, would be $89.00 every three months. A pretty good deal if you ask me. But wait, it gets even better.

The second way, to pay is $24.17 a month, billed annually at $290.00.00. An even better bargain, what do you think? This would be the way, that I would go. This is less expensive than getting mom some jewelry, heck, even flowers that won’t last all year can cost more than a club membership. Mom deserves a gift that keeps giving all year. A whiskey club membership. Does’nt she? Here, I will make it easy for you, just click the link >->-> FLAVIAR<-<-<- how easy is that for you? All you need to do is decide to take action and get mom the best gift that she can get and will love. The best part is every time the doorbell rings with a delivery of whiskey for her, she will immediately think of you, it can’t get any better than that can it?

Love:Mother And Child:

All these years, our mothers have done their best to keep us safe, help us to know right from wrong, and help us grow into the adults that we are today. Let’s make this Mother’s Day be a great day. Mom helped us to soar like an eagle, let’s make it up to her this Sunday, after all mom deserves a gift that keeps giving all year. A whiskey club membership.

Remember to drink responsibly, and never drink and drive. The life you save may very well be your own. Sincerely: John D. Have a blessed day my friends.

My Heart Belongs To Bourbon: Always has and always will.

For those of you, who have been around here for a while, know that bourbon is my absolute favorite liquor to drink. I can drink neat, over the rocks, or mixed with some soda, or sweet tea. Today, I have a few cocktail recipes that use this versatile whiskey. You probably have already heard of one or two of them, but I think that the last one just might surprise you a little. So, why don’t you stick around for a bit? Maybe you will find a drink that tickles your fancy, and will want to give the cocktail a whirl. Perhaps I will start the party with one that I can’t live without. Will you join me on this little adventure, or are you going to sit this one out? What else better do you have to do on this rainy day?

Best Damn Sweet Tea Smash:Sweet Southern Tea:

Simple yet delicious, this riff on a classic cocktail perfectly blends the bite of bourbon and the smoothness of Best Damn Sweet Tea. Try it with muddled mint leaves for a cool, fresh finish.

Ingredients:

1) 5 ounces of Best Damn Sweet Tea

2) 1 ounce of Buffalo Trace Bourbon

3) 3/4 of an ounce of lemon juice

4) 1/4 ounce of sugar

To Make; Pour Best Damn Sweet Tea over ice into a chilled cocktail glass. Use a mason jar for that southern look. In a cocktail shaker, shake remaining ingredients together with some ice and strain into your glass. Garnish with fresh mint and a lemon wedge. Don’t forget to muddle some mint in the bottom of the shaker for a fresh taste.

Blackberry And Peach Infused Bourbon:Paradise In A Jar:

Some spirit lovers may raise an eyebrow to anything that alters the smooth flavor profile of bourbon, but trust me this infusion will keep even the most strict liquor aficionado coming back for more. The classic hints of sweetness in the bourbon are brought to a whole new level once combined with the natural flavors of fresh peach and blackberries. You can enjoy this cocktail infusion on its own over ice, or with a little ginger beer and a sprig of mint. Personally, I would drink it over ice, and forget the ginger beer.

Ingredients:

1) 2 peaches, peeled and sliced

2) 1/2 pint of blackberries, cut lengthwise

3) Buffalo Trace Bourbon

To Make; Place sliced peaches and blackberries into the bottom of a 1 1/2 pint mason jar, any jar of this size will do just fine, if you don’t have a mason jar. Fill the rest of the jar with a bourbon of your choice, I used Buffalo Trace, but you can use whatever you like. I think the Buffalo Trace has the perfect amount of sweetness to pair well with the fresh fruits. Seal the jar with a lid. Give the mixture a good shake to distribute the ingredients, and let sit in a cool dark place for up to three days, shaking occasionally. After three days, strain ingredients out through a fine mesh strainer, and place your infused bourbon into a sealed jar. Infusion will keep for several weeks after refrigerated.

Rye Whiskey The Future Of Cocktails:

In the past there has only been a handful of alcohols for us to use to make our favorite cocktails with. In the more recent years there has been a new trend in the cocktail world. Even though these whiskeys have been around for many years, many of us, myself included, have ignored them. Now with the new trend in high gear, I say that rye whiskey is the future of cocktails. Do you want to jump on this band wagon with me? For years I have been a bourbon lover, and I am ready to try something new. It has taken me thirty years to get to this point, however, I hear that drinking bourbon is very close to drinking rye whiskey.
