Put The Bottle To My Head And Pull The Trigger: I am outraged.

Let me start by saying, if I offend anyone here today I am very sorry. However, there is something that I need to get off my chest. And it needs to be said publicly. Most of the articles on this site are about alcohol, as well as cocktail recipes. This article is going to be a little bit different from the others.

Put the bottle to my head and pull the trigger. I am outraged, I believe is the perfect title for today’s topic. Simply due to the fact that I am one hundred percent ashamed to be an American. After what happened in our country last week, I just want to go bury my head in the sand on some deserted island. Or drown myself in a bottle of bourbon. You should want to join me in this effort, I am.pretty sure that are a few of out there that feel the same way that I do at this moment in time.

The Oath We Take:Oath Of Service:

Every man and woman who enters into military service has to take an oath. This oath states that we will defend the country from enemies, both foreign and domestic. Nowhere in the oath of service does it say to join the ranks of those who wish to do harm.

Last Wednesday an event took place in our nation’s capital. What was supposed to be a peaceful protest, turned into violence. Some of the individuals who were in this crowd of hooligans, are United States veterans. One of which we know was a United States Airforce officer. This man should have known better, and should have tried to put a stop to the destruction. Not be a leader for the group.

I myself have taken the oath of service, and served my country with honor. To this day I still serve, now it’s my community as I serve as a security officer. I am totally outraged that members of the armed forces and who are now veterans, decided to become domestic terrorists. And that is exactly what they are. Plus they are now on the FBI’s most wanted list. The FBI is actively searching for them, and even found and made a few arrests.

What is  Even more outrageous, is the fact that they are now finding out that some of the capital police officers, rather than stop the mob, joined in with them. They are also under investigation, and may lose their job along with all of their benefits. I hope it was all worth it for them. How do you feel about this whole situation?

What Was The Cause?President Trump

The cause of these outrageous acts against our nation’s capital, was the words of one man. The president of the United States Mr. Donald Trump. Do not get me wrong, I am not making a threat against the president, I am merely stating the fact of the matter.

Earlier in the day he stepped up to a podium and gave a speech to some peaceful protesters. I did’nt hear everything that was said, but the president being upset that he lost the election suggested that there was voter fraud to blame and wanted the senate to look into it.

Go figure a man who is not used to losing, lost the election and decided to throw a little temper.tantrum. He told the people there to March down the street and hold congress accountable. Go figure, a man who is always saying you’r fired, is now the one being told ,you’r fired. And he doesn’t like it. So he threw a tantrum. His words incited a riot, and he should be held accountable as well as the rioters. What do you think should happen to the leader of the free world?

Where Do We Go From Here?Arrests:

If you ask me, everyone who was involved in the attack on the capital, should all be arrested. Including the president of the United States. I think that impeachment for a second time just is not enough justice.

However, moving forward with criminal charges against the president, would just keep his face in front of the cameras. Giving him free publicity for his next endeavors.

One day Mr Trump says there will be a peaceful transition of power to president-elect Joe Biden. Then the next day the president says that he will not attend the inauguration. This tells me that the president, a man that I voted for is no more than sniveling little child. Mr. President, you admitted defeat, now be a man and uphold the tradition of the transfer of power to the president-elect. Also, you should hold yourself accountable for the actions that took place last Wednesday. What do you think the president should do about the situation?

Looking Forward To The Future:President Elect Joe Biden:

In just about two weeks we will have a new president. The American people have spoken and voted a new president into office. This may have upset quite a few people. But, this is a fact, and we have to live with it. Like it, or not.

Now you can see why I am going to put the bottle to my head and pull the trigger. I am outraged. But, there is nothing I can do about it. The man that I voted for lost. I have to accept it, and move on. I am not going to throw a temper.tantrum. I will however sit back and have a cocktail or two.

I already know that Joe Biden is going to carry on with president Obama’s agenda. I do not think that anything that Mr. Biden will be able to do any of the thing he said he would do during his campaign. Like double the amount of social security that people get. Especially without raising our taxes. I know for a fact that once Mr. Biden reinstates Obama care, my prescription costs are going to go back up. Great news for me right?

  2. Hi John,

Very well put, I agree with most everything you said, especially the part about some bourbon!

It is a controversial topic and you articulated the issues with what we have dealt with, and the issue to come. I do hope once all the dust settles there may be some good topics that can be talked about too. I think the media needs to try and focus on some of the good things our leaders have done and are trying to do for this county. Maybe it would change the way some things are commonly dealt with. Less protest and more support!

I will leave you with this, America is a union. From my involvement, I can say I will always stand up for what is best for the members of that union. It may not always make everyone happy but the goal is to be the best as a group. There will never be one president that makes everyone happy.

    1. Thank you for your understanding. I was and still am upset at the fact that there us veterans in that mob, that decoded to do harm to members of congress as well as the vice president Mike Pence. Also I agree that there will never be a president that ale everyone happy. I  hope that Americans learn something from this, so it doesn’t happen in the future.

  3. As far as I know, all of us, on both sides of this are enraged.  Everyone who engaged in storming the building should be arrested and face charges but I think we need to be thankful that most of the protesters remained calm and peaceful.  I am incredibly frustrated that every person that supported Trump is being blamed for what happened.  When you’re done with that bottle, pass it this way.

    1. As you know one bad apple spoils the entire barrel. And as far as the bottle goes, you can visit one off my other articles to use a link. You can also wait until tomorrow and there will be a sale, you can save 10 bucks on any order of 30 dollars or more.

  4. Haha thanks for the article my guy! To be completely honest with you, what has happened over the past few months and especially last week was really dumb and uncalled for. There’s a lot to touch on about this topic, but I wish we could just end all the confusion and division and just be more unified. What happened to loving everyone?

    1. I completely agree with you on this my brother. What really made me mad was the fact that there were veterans in that group that broke their oath of service, but I will stop there.

  5. Great article! I find it very interesting, I like your viewpoints on the presidents and with biden in office I’m sure it will be game changer. Whether this is in a good way or a bad way is very debatable, but I know you mentioned that he wasn’t going to raise taxes, but he will be raising them on corporations and the rich, that will sadly lead to increased prices of our basic products. The raised minimum wage will do the same thing.

    1. I am glad that you like the article. No matter what everything that Joe Biden says he’s going to do, that money has to come from somewhere.  Guess who pays for it?  Us. What is your view of what happened at the capital last week?
