Start The New Year With Diet Friendly Cocktails: New craft spirits.

First off, congratulations, you made it through the year of 2020. Now that we are in 2021 it is time to get down to the brass taxes. Have you gotten your gym membership yet? Yeah, I have not done so as well. Was one of your new years resolutions to lose some weight? Want to get that flabby body of 2020 back into shape, and ready for the beach this summer? Think that you have to give up all those cocktails that we love so much? You know that they are loaded down with a ton of calories as well as carbohydrates. I don’t know about you, but I for one am not willing to give up my cocktails. This article will be dedicated to bringing you a few drinks that are keto friendly, as well as sugar free. This way, you can still have a cocktail or two, and still keep on track for your weight loss goals. You can get back in shape, and still drink with these new year diet friendly cocktails.

Keto Spicy Margaritas:Keto Spicy Margarita:

Ingredients:

1) 4 ounces of Swoon Margarita Mixer

2) 1 ounce of Jaun More Time Tequila Blanco

3) 1 ounce of Swoon Simple Syrup

4) 1/2 of a jalapeno sliced

5) 1 ounce of lime juice

To Make; Squeeze the lime juice into a cocktail shaker, add the Swoon Margarita mixer, Swoon Simple Syrup, and the tequila. Shake well. Strain into a margarita glass with some ice. Add jalapeno rounds to the glass and stir. Sit back and enjoy after a hard workout. You deserve it.

Jaun More Time Tequila

Paleo Margarita:Paleo Margarita:

Ingredients:

1) 2 ounces of Jaun More Time Tequila

2) 1 ounce of lime juice

3) 1 ounce of Swoon Simple Syrup

4) 1 ounce of orange juice

To Make; Combine all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Strain into a margarita glass filled with some fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel. And enjoy. Do not skip the garnish, trust me on this one.

Jaun More Time Tequila Blanco

Swoon Simple Syrup

Low Carb Tom Collins:

Ingredients:

1) 1 1/2 ounces of Sugar- Free Gin

2) 2 Tablespoons of Lemon Juice

3) 8 ounces of Seltzer

4) 1 Packet of Stevia low calorie sweetener

5) Lemon slices

To Make; Mix gin, lemon juice, and the Stevia low calorie sweetener in a glass. Add club soda to taste, and then add ice cubes. Garnish with the lemon slices. Since the traditional garnish of cherries is two grams of carbohydrates each, you may want to skip them. Lemon or lime slice are lower in carbs. Plus they can add a little zing to the cocktail.

Mr. Tom’s Certified Sugar-Free Gin

Keto Rum Punch:Low Carb Rum Punch:

Ingredients:

1) 2 ounces of Coconut Rum

2) 8 ounces of Diet V8 Splash Tropical Blend

3) 1/8 teaspoon of Tropical Punch Kool-Aid ( unsweetened )

4) Ice cubes

To Make; Combine the V8 Splash Tropical Blend, Tropical Kool-Aid mix, and ice cubes in a cocktail shaker, and shake for 20 seconds, or until the powder mix is fully dissolved. Pour into a glass with fresh ice cubes. Serve immediately with a fruit garnish of orange wedges, and a little umbrella. For the ambiance.

Wicked Dolphin Coconut Rum

Vegan Whiskey Sour:

Ingredients:

1) 1 Tablespoon of Aquafaba

2) 3 ounces of Koval Bourbon Whiskey

3) 2 ounces of lemon juice

4) 2 ounces of Swoon Simple Syrup

5) 2 Maraschino Cherries

To Make; Shake the Aquafaba in a cocktail shaker for 30 seconds until frothy. Add in the whiskey, lemon juice, simple syrup, and ice to the shaker. Shake all the ingredients together thoroughly. Strain into a rocks glass ( short glass ) filled with fresh ice. Then garnish with the maraschino cherries. This one is sure to impress your friends.

Koval Bourbon Whiskey

Swoon Simple Syrup

Low Sugar Vodka Soda:Sugar Free Vodka:

Ingredients:

1) 1 1/2 ounces of Sugar-Free Vodka

2) Half an ounce of Swoon Simple Syrup

3) 1 ounce of lemon juice

4) A splash of club soda

5) Orange slices

6) Maraschino cherry

To Make; Pour the vodka, lemon juice, and simple syrup in a Collins glass, or a highball glass ( tall glass ) with some ice cubes. Stir thoroughly. Top off with a splash of club soda. And garnish with a cherry as well as an orange slice. And enjoy.

Spiced Bourbon Toddy:

Ingredients:

1) 2 ounces of Fire Oak Texas Bourbon

2) 3 cups of spiced Cranberry Toddy Mixture

3) 1/4 cup of Maple Syrup

4) Orange slices and cinnamon sticks

To Make; In a mug or a short cocktail glass, rim with some light brown sugar. Add bourbon and fill with the toddy mixture. Garnish with orange slices and cinnamon sticks.

For the spiced toddy mixture: In a saucepan add 2 cups of cranberry juice with half an orange, sliced, 2 cinnamon sticks, 1 teaspoon of ginger, 2 anise stars, 5 teaspoons of whole cloves. Bring juices to a simmer, add spices and simmer for an additional 15 minutes. Add 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup and combine well. Strain out spices. For a time saver you can put all the spices in a cheese cloth ball. Then all you have to do is remove the ball and discard the spices.

Fire Oak Texas Bourbon

Time Traveler:

Drink a couple of these and you will feel like you traveled in time.

Ingredients:

1) 2 ounces of Ghost Coast Bourbon Whiskey

2) 3/4 of an ounce of Ghost Coast Carthusian Bitters

3) 1/2 an ounce of Ghost Coast Chalmers Cherry Almond Liqueur

4) 1 Dash of Aztec Chocolate Bitters

To Make; Add all ingredients into a mixing glass filled with ice and stir. Strain over a double rocks glass with a large format ice cube. And enjoy.
